The Green Gables PTA is raising money for our annual budget which we use to better the lives of our children through multiple educational programs and activities. We want to promote a healthy lifestyle to our students and the community. Please help us reach our fundraising goal of a school total of $13,000 by supporting our Walk-A-Thon. You can do this by helping your child raise a total of $75 in donations. It’s easy! Just help your child gather 5, $15.00 flat donations, or more.
It’s free, super easy, takes only a few minutes, and your student qualifies for a prize just for registering!
Share your child’s student fundraising web page via email to 10-15 friends and/or family. It’s super easy! Post on Facebook or Social Media. It’s two clicks of a button to post. The average parent has 300 FB friends. You’ll be surprised when donations come in from distant relatives/friends from HS/co-workers. Post and see what happens! Online donations are automatically tracked to your child when donations are made to your child’s page.
For in person donations, your child should have come home with a donation sheet. If your child lost theirs, or you already filled it up we have you covered.
Bring donations by Check/Cash into your child’s classroom daily, where they will be added to your child’s total.
Please make checks payable to: Green Gables PTA
Stretch your donations further by asking your employer if they will match the donations you raise.
Ask your local business connections to consider sponsoring the Walk-a-Thon event.
Business who donate $150 will have their logo placed on the back of the $100 student fundraising prize, a hoodie style sweatshirt. Additionally the logo will be attached under the Walk-a-Thon banner which will be proudly displayed during the pledge period.
