Claire Morris Clark is a Seattle-area transplant who is passionate about social justice and good community. After a stint as a criminal defense attorney, Claire traded in her courtroom battles for a new challenge: motherhood. Thankfully, Claire’s daughters keep her up to date on her persuasion and negotiation skills: never underestimate a child who is intent on getting her own way! Kate Woodbury
Standing tall at five foot four inches, fifth year member, most likely to vote yes, mother of dragon’s (four to be precise), this years Co-V.P., don’t give her a mic, Kate Woodbury.
Kate is known to crush it in Fantasy Football, is a big Seahawks fan, and enjoys the friendships volunteering has given. Kate encourages all to become involved in the Green Gables community, especially people who like to bake her cookies. Any kind of cookies, especially chocolate chip cookies. Waka Morales
I am Waka Morales, Co-Vice President for the second term. I am married to Reuben and we have 3 boys: Joshua is 9 years old, 4th grade in Mrs. Tingley’s class; Elijah is 15 years old, Sophomore at Kennedy Catholic High School; Isaiah is 17, Senior at Kennedy Catholic High School. Isaiah started at GGB in 2nd grade and Elijah started in Kindergarten so I have been a parent at GGB for 11 years! Contact: VP@GreenGablesPTA.org

Shauna Higgins
Shauna Higgins, secretary, has been a parent at Green Gables since 2013. She has two children. Her daughter went to Green Gables 1st-5th grades and is now in middle school and her son is in 1st grade. Shauna is a Montessori teacher who has chosen to stay home to take care of her family full time and her triplet toddler nieces part time. Jamie LaTurner
Jamie LaTurner grew up in Federal Way and graduated high school from Thomas Jefferson. She married Daniel LaTurner in 2006 and they have two kids, Dylan, 10, and Brooklyn, 7. Dylan is in 6th grade at Lakota and went to Green Gables from Kindergarten through 5th grade. Brooklyn is in first grade at Green Gables. Jamie is a registered nurse at St. Joseph Medical Center, coaches soccer, loves to craft, and feels very blessed by her community of family and friends.
