Welcome to Green Gables PTA. It is the mission of Green Gables PTA to support a safe, equitable, and diverse learning environment by harmonizing relationships between school, home, and community.
In order to accomplish this mission the Green Gables PTA runs a variety of school enrichment programs, community events, fundraisers, and staff/classroom support programs and events.
Community events: BooHoo Breakfast, for Kindergarten parents on the first school day for Kindergartners. Skate Night, check out our Calendar for dates and times. Often the Spring Fundraiser is also a community event, such as carnival or dinner auction.
Fundraisers: The biggest fundraiser each year is the Walk-a-Thon, students will be asked to raise money through donations and can win individual and class prizes. Green Gables PTA participates in several Rebate and Rewards programs which earn the school money while you shop. The Book Fair earns our school a portion of the total sales. The Spring Fundraiser is typically a fun event like a carnival or auction dinner.
Staff/Classroom Support Programs: Twice a year, during Student Led Conferences, the Staff Appreciation committee hosts lunch for the teachers who are working extra long days. Class supplies. New playground equipment such as balls are regularly purchased through the PTA, in years past the PTA has also updated the big toy and other large items.
